Another full house in Truro with the Vintage Mobile Cinema bus!

Vintage Mobile Cinema bus in Truro 21/2/11

Wow! I cant believe we had over 360 people come to watch archive films on the Vintage Mobile Cinema bus over 2 days.

Inside the Vintage Mobile Cinema

Yesterday we were in Truro on Lemon Quay and even though the heavens opened and it rained ALL DAY it didn’t stop people coming to visit us.  Again we had eight sittings which were all filled up.

Don’t forget you can subscribe to our blog newsletters (on the right hand side of this post) where you can find out about other events.

We are also interested to hear from community groups, schools etc who would be interested to support us in bringing the Vintage Mobile Cinema bus down to Cornwall again in the future.   Please contact me on barbara@awen.org.uk

After a very rainy day we're still smiling! Emma Giffard (VMC), Maurice O'Connell (Sponsor, Savoury Soaps Ltd), Ollie Halls (owner of VMC), Barbara Santi (Awen Productions cic)

Thanks once again to Emma & Ollie from the VMC, BBC Radio Cornwall / CSV for their help, our volunteers Jake & Gabriella from Penwith College, our funders (Feast, SWS Digital Film Archive Fund) and in particular our sponsor (Savoury Soaps Ltd) who made it possible to bring the bus down from North Devon and make the event free for people.
